Our Story
Modest doesn't have to mean boring.
As a girl who dresses modestly but loves alternative fashion, I spent years scrolling past pieces I loved — leather, studs, sharp silhouettes — knowing none of it was built for the way I actually dress. Modest fashion meant plain. Alternative fashion meant uncovered. I never fit neatly into either.
Sakina Studio exists to close that gap. Every piece starts from full coverage, then gets built up from there — hand-set studs, considered tailoring, fabrics that move — so covering up never means dressing down.
“Sakina” means tranquility, stillness, a settled kind of peace. That's the feeling we design toward: clothes you feel fully yourself in, not clothes you settle for.
